This easy, cozy sheet-pan dinner is a family favorite! The gnocchi turns golden and crispy, the broccoli gets perfectly roasted, and the sausage adds just the right amount of richness. A sprinkle of Parmesan and a squeeze of lemon bring it all together for a simple yet delicious meal.
Ingredients (Serves 4)
- 1 (12- to 18-ounce) package shelf-stable potato gnocchi
- 1 large head broccoli (about 1 pound), florets cut into 1½- to 2-inch pieces, stems thinly sliced
- ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, finely grated
- Salt, to taste
- Crushed red pepper (optional)
- 1 pound hot or sweet Italian sausage, casings removed
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan, plus more for serving
- ½ lemon
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 425°F. On a sheet pan, toss together the gnocchi, broccoli, olive oil, and garlic until well coated. Season with salt and crushed red pepper (if using). Spread into an even layer.
2️⃣ Add the sausage by pinching off small pieces (about the size of the gnocchi) and placing them on top of the gnocchi and broccoli.
3️⃣ Roast for 20-25 minutes, until the sausage is cooked through and golden brown, and the broccoli is crisp at the edges.
4️⃣ Finish it off by squeezing the lemon juice over the top (about 1½ tablespoons) and sprinkling with Parmesan. Stir until the cheese melts and coats everything beautifully.
5️⃣ Serve immediately, topped with extra Parmesan and crushed red pepper as desired. Enjoy! 😋✨
